W. Jefferson Leath, Jr.

Jefferson Leath is one of South Carolina’s most experienced civil litigation attorneys who maintains the highest professional ratings from peer groups and organizations, and who has wide‐ranging and deep experience in handling hundreds of complex legal matters over the course of his career in State and Federal Court, in Administrative Tribunals, and in connection with government agencies. He has successfully effected millions of dollars in recoveries for property owners and is responsible for major law‐shaping decisions in the highest Courts of the State. He has developed extensive skills in management of complex matters, negotiation, and has been deeply involved in mediation and resolution of highly involved legal disputes for the past thirty (30) years. His background and work experience has exposed him to many and varied aspects of the legal profession from his present practice of Construction Litigation, to his work in the fields of complex insurance coverage issues and highly complex Class Actions. He has been a member of the American Arbitration Association panel of Arbitrators, and has arbitrated many matters, both as counsel, and as an Arbitrator. As the attorney member of the South Carolina Board of Architectural Examiners, he has significant experience in the field of Administrative Law.
